Street Workout Moves: From Easy to Impossible!
Street Workout Move Categories: From Easiest to Hardest
Here are the four categories:
- Mortals
- Demigods
- Olympians
- Titans
Beginner Moves: Mortals
First up for mere mortals: the L-SIT which mainly relies on flexibility.
L-Sit

Pull Over / Stomach Raise

This exercise can be really useful for your first Kipping Muscle-ups.
Kipping Muscle Up

Initially, the technique will be a good challenge and let you do muscle-ups without needing too much strength. But the less you use your legs and swing, the more strength will take over, making the exercise tougher.
Let's move on to the Elbow Lever, a move that won't demand crazy strength if you have the right mobility to tuck your elbows into your stomach and know how to play with your balance.

Now, let's talk about the Pistol Squat, an approachable and well-balanced move where mobility and technique play a big part.

To wrap up the 'mortal' category, we have the famous Handstand, which blends technique and balance.
The Handstand should be one of the first street workout moves you learn. It teaches you great body awareness in space and helps keep your shoulders healthy.
Handstand / Balance

Push yourself, become a Semi-God!
Now we're moving on to the second category, the Semi-Gods.
Let's kick things off with one-arm push-ups, where pure strength can really cut down on the technical stuff you need.

Next up, we move on to the climb Strength Handstand, getting tougher as you get better and slow down the movement.
Strict Handstand (Bent)

You'll also be able to tackle the Dragon Flag, an exercise that looks pretty impressive at first glance but is totally achievable with a bit of perseverance.

Next up, we have the V-SIT, which will really challenge your flexibility and strength as you push to go further and further.

After that, we move on to the Semi-Planche , which looks like an Elbow Lever, but this time you're using pure strength instead of balance.

We finish up with the Handstand Push up , which needs both strength and control.

Street Workout Olympians
We're starting right off with one of the most famous moves in Street Workout, the Back Lever . This one needs some mobility and technique, plus the strength to hold good form.

Then there's the Strength Muscle up, where you're not really relying on technique anymore.
Strict Muscle Up (False Grip)

We'd rather focus on technique to learn the One-Arm Elbow Lever . It gets easier with more strength, but it can almost entirely be about balance.

Next, we get to what's probably the symbol of this sport, the most famous Street Workout move in the world: the Human Flag.

After that, we move on to the famous Front Lever, the move everyone who wants to do Street Workout dreams of unlocking.

Another balance exercise is the Hollow Back Handstand. You can do it thanks to our Parallettes which you can find on our shop.

The One-Arm Back Lever is a more technical move than it might seem, even if, in the end, just pulling hard enough with your arm can be enough.

Let's continue with unilateral exercises with the One-Arm Pull-up, which really just demands pure strength.

Finally, you'll be able to join Zeus by doing the Straddle Planche, a move that will definitely make you proud when you achieve it. It's worth noting that flexibility can really help here.

All the Street Workout moves we've looked at so far are accessible to everyone, no matter your initial height or weight, as long as you put in the work, of course.

Hey Eric,
Thanks a lot for your tips and videos.
I discovered street workout through your videos, and I'm slowly getting into it. (Glad I have a good base from weight training to start).
Keep up the great work!
